Special delivery! In collaboration with the good folks at Unbleached Apparel, we’re releasing a special FoxFibre® iteration of the Prologue—alongside two versions of the Chapter 1s and another of the Prologue. A lot, I suppose.
This is a mid-weight selvedge twill fabric woven at a high density (9oz). While lighter weight, it has a good rigidity to it and holds its shape well. It feels more like a 12oz denim.
What’s special? The FoxFibre® itself! Developed over decades by Sally Fox, it’s the first naturally colored organic cotton that requires no dyes and is strong enough to be spun on conventional machinery. Before Sally, colored cottons (greens, browns, reds, etc.) were too short to spin—your only option was cream. Now look at us.
The FoxFibre® pieces are made in collaboration with Unbleached Apparel, a brand that uses no dyes or bleaches. It was only right that they threw these rolls of denim in front of us like a sack of gold.
